Three storey house (139 sqm) + shop (18 sqm) to be restored in one of the most characteristic places of the historic center, a few meters away from the main streets and squares. At the ground floor there are two rooms with stone portals, small windows and features cross vaults: a room is identified as commercial for its favorable position in a main road, the other room has instead a shed / warehouse with an ancient small tub that is presumed to have been used for food production ; this last room is connected directly to the rest of the house by an internal staircase. The main entrance of the house, with a beautiful stone portal, is in the mezzanine floor and leads directly into a large masonry staircase with stone steps. At the first floor there is a kitchen with a corner fireplace, a small bathroom and a living / dining room. Going up via the internal staircase you reach first a landing with a door / window towards a beautiful stone balcony and then the second floor, where you find two large bedrooms with some niches on the walls and one with a lovely fireplace. From the windows of the second floor, surrounded by stone squares, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the inhabited center of the old town, rich in ancient churches and palaces and of the surroundings marked by the succession of green hills and mountains.

The house is currently not habitable and needs to be renovated. It should however be kept in mind that the property has been included in the list of buildings in the historic center that will benefit from state contribution for total restructuring. The sale price is related to the current condition, before the restructuring.

The old town has monuments and places of interest such as the many churches, the Taverna Ducale and the splendid ruins of the Cantelmo’s Castle . There are also the Baths of Popoli (Popoli Spa) for rehabilitative therapy with mud and sulphurous waters . Excellent connections by the motorway , trains and buses. The city of Pescara, the airport and the beaches of the Adriatic Sea are about 50 ‘, in just over half an hour to the major ski centers in the Abruzzo region (Roccaraso, Campo Felice, Ovindoli, Passolanciano,….). Roma is at 90’.
