Giulianova is home to one of the four ports of the Abruzzo region, the only one in the province. The inhabited area is divided into two main conglomerations, which have been connected to each other in the last decades: Giulianova, also known as Giulianova Paese or Giulianova Alta, and Giulianova Lido or Giulianova Spiaggia.
